Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate role is a key position within TD’s Personal & Commercial Banking line of business. This role is designed to facilitate the delivery of TD’s brand promise at a branch level. It entails accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
The Banking Associate is expected to perform a plethora of tasks, from processing customer transactions and opening new accounts to educating customers on various banking products and services. The role also involves building trust with customers, providing consultative support, and advocating proactive insights and recommendations.
Moreover, this position requires the use of TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, deepen relationships, and promote products and services. The objective is to attract and retain customers. Given the scope of the role, the Banking Associate should understand customer financial needs and be capable of accurately completing everyday banking transactions, both on the teller line and on the platform.
Qualifications and Experience
TD Bank is seeking candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred, along with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Moreover, candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to schedule and prioritize work, make sound judgments, and work independently within deadlines. A Notary License is also preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this role ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 USD, depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
