Role of Banking Associate
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at the store location. The role involves processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and providing clients with advice and support on services, products, and tools to help them achieve their financial goals. This role demands a wide range of tasks across multiple areas, including processing customer transactions, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations. The associate will also utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships.
Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants for the Banking Associate position should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also a requirement, and a Notary License is preferred. Furthermore, teller experience is also preferred, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while promoting and referring TD products to both new and existing customers. The role requires an understanding and support of the Bank’s customer service strategy and due diligence to new account openings and transactions to ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
