About the Banking Associate Role at TD Bank

The pay details for this role range from $23.75 to $31.00 USD per hour for a 30-hour workweek.
Responsibilities and Duties
A Banking Associate at TD is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. This role includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The associate also delivers end-to-end advice customers expect, from building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role should have a high school diploma or a GED. They should also have at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred qualifications include teller experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is also preferred but not mandatory.
Customer Accountabilities
At TD, the Banking Associate is expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They are responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, managing wait times for client meetings, understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy, and ensuring tasks are performed within established policy and procedures.

Physical Requirements
The Banking Associate role requires the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks. These may include lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs. occasionally, standing and walking frequently, and performing multiple tasks continuously. Additionally, they must have the ability to respond quickly to sounds and move safely in confined spaces occasionally. They may also need to perform sedentary work frequently.
