Role Highlights and Expectations
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This professional is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and offering advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
As a Banking Associate, you will be expected to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will also be required to deliver end-to-end advice to customers which involves building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate position should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This could be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated effective problem-solving skills are crucial for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required and having a Notary License is preferred.
