As a Banking Associate, your primary line of business will be Personal & Commercial Banking. The role involves a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts and educating customers on banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities of a Banking Associate at TD Bank
As a Banking Associate, you will be expected to deliver end-to-end advice to customers, build trust with educational content & tools, provide consultative support, and make proactive recommendations. You will also be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions either on the teller line or on the platform while uncovering customer financial needs. Your role will also involve servicing customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online (digital) banking.
Skills and Experience Required
Job aspirants should possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least 1 year of experience working with customers which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
The role requires the ability to perform sedentary work frequently and handle multiple tasks continuously. It also involves operating standard office equipment and responding quickly to sounds. The role may require occasional domestic travel, but international travel is not required.
