This role comes with a competitive pay scale, ranging from $22.00 to $27.75 USD per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. Job Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This includes accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
The role requires performing a wide range of tasks within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about all banking products and services. The associate will also be responsible for building trust with customers, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations. This role also involves using TD’s systems and tools to interact with customers to acquire and deepen relationships.
The Banking Associate is expected to understand the financial needs of customers to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services. The associate will also be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and servicing customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online banking.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. This role also requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Teller experience and a Notary License are preferred, but not required.
Customer Accountabilities
The Banking Associate will consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. This includes establishing and nurturing customer relationships, managing wait times to meet with a Banker, and understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy. The associate is also expected to consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its customers, and stakeholders.
