Role Overview and Duties
A Banking Associate plays a key role in providing accurate everyday banking transactions, offering advice, and supporting customers to achieve their financial goals. The role involves performing an array of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, which includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services.
The associate also delivers end-to-end advice customers expect. This involves building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations. The banking associate utilizes TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, deepening relationships by providing advice and guidance to attract and retain the customer.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Prospective candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This can come from any capacity, including volunteering, education, or military experience. Other desirable skills include excellent communication, effective problem-solving, the ability to schedule and prioritize work, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred but not required.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities:
