Compensation Package and Work Hours
The banking associate position offers an attractive pay scale ranging from $22.00 to $27.75 USD. The role requires a standard 40-hour workweek commitment. However, the actual base pay may vary based upon the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The individual in this role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. A banking associate performs a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers on all banking products and services, and delivering end-to-end advice customers expect. The role requires an understanding of customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Education and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role would possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Further, teller experience is preferred, and the candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. The candidate should also possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, and a Notary License is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Travel
The role involves occasional domestic travel, frequent performance of multiple tasks, operation of standard office equipment, and sitting, standing, and walking. The candidate may also be required to perform occasional lifting and carrying tasks.
