Job Description and Scope
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. They also play a part in opening new accounts and educating customers on all banking products and services, building trust with educational content & tools, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate role should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and should be proficient in Microsoft Office. A notary license is preferred.
Customer & Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while promoting and referring TD products to new and existing customers. They are accountable for cash drawers, including maintaining cash limits and securing cash drawers/stations/balances out cash drawer and TCR. They are also responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
