Role Description & Requirements
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking and plays an essential role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
The role requires the candidate to be a high school graduate or GED holder, with at least a year of customer service experience. Teller experience is preferred, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hiring. The candidate should also possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Customer Accountabilities
The role demands a consistent provision of legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The associate is expected to establish and nurture customer relationships, manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy.
Shareholder & Employee/Team Accountabilities
The Banking Associate must ensure compliance when completing operational activities and accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests. The associate is expected to contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand, and Culture, and be an active participant in personal performance and development activities.
