What Does the Role Involve?
The Banking Associate will accurately complete everyday banking transactions while providing advice and support on banking services, products, and tools to help customers meet their financial goals. This covers a broad range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about banking products and services.
The successful candidate will utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire and deepen customer relationships by delivering proactive insights, and recommendations. The Banking Associate will understand the customer’s financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
What are the Requirements?
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This could be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Customer service skills, excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and strong organization skills are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and a Notary License is a plus.
What are the Physical Requirements?
The role requires frequent domestic travel and performing sedentary work. The successful candidate should be comfortable performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. Physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and kneeling are occasional. Concentration for long periods of time, reading, writing, comprehending instructions, and doing arithmetic are continuous tasks.
