The Role of Senior Account Executive at Jack Henry Banking

The position of Senior Account Executive at Jack Henry Banking is more than a mere sales job; it is a highly visible role integral to our growth and diversification strategy. This role holds higher performance standards than most traditional sales positions. You will need to embrace these responsibilities and heightened expectations associated with this role willingly. The essence of personal leadership is crucial in the execution of daily duties. Sustainable and long-term leadership traits are vital as they impact sales productivity directly. Your evaluation will be based on three key categories: Skills, Traits, and Results.

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, and though candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., those located in Georgia or within a reasonable driving distance from Georgia are preferred. The application window is open until 6/30.

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Account Executive role comprises of various responsibilities including:

• 70% – On-site sales calls to existing JHA clients, promoting assigned JHA Products and Services, and new business development prospecting to non-JHA Core Institutions below $2.75 Billion in assets.
• 20% – Territory and account plan development to ensure annual sales plan objectives are achieved.
• 10% – Administrative and Account responsibilities including forecasting, opportunity management, product education, and client liaison during any problem escalation.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you need to have:

• 3 years’ experience selling in a financial services environment.
• A thorough understanding of the selling processes.
• Detail-oriented and solid analytical skills.
• The ability to formulate strategies to solve complex problems.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% for this role.

It would be advantageous if you have:

• 2-year or 4-year degree (preferred, but not required).
• A reasonable understanding of the Gartner or Challenger Selling models.
• The ability to manage both vertical and lateral working relationships.
• Solid communication skills; both verbal and written.
