Compensation and Work Hours
TD Bank is committed to ensuring fair and equitable compensation for all its colleagues. The base pay for this role ranges between $22.00 – $27.75 USD. The actual offered pay may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. The position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week.
Job Role and Responsibilities
As a banking associate, you will be tasked with accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred, and you will be required to complete teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines are also essential for this role.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a banking associate, you are responsible for providing exemplary customer service while transacting, promoting, and referring TD Bank products to new and existing customers. You must adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures to minimize risk and protect the customer. Additionally, as an employee, you are expected to contribute to a positive work environment and participate fully as a team member.
Physical Requirements
The job requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional domestic travel may be required. You may also need to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, and concentrate for long periods of time. The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs. may also be necessary.
