The Role of a Banking Associate
As a Banking Associate, you will play an important role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This includes accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate is responsible for a wide range of tasks within the store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
Education & Experience Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED. A year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred. This could be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. In addition, teller experience, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also preferred. A Notary License is a plus.
Physical Requirements
The role involves frequent sedentary work and performing multiple tasks. The candidate must be able to operate standard office equipment, respond quickly to sounds, and concentrate for long periods of time. The role also includes occasional domestic travel and requires the candidate to be able to perform basic mathematical operations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
