Compensation and Working Hours

Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate will be responsible for various tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. The associate will also provide end-to-end advice to customers, including building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations. The associate will utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, deepen relationships, and attract and retain customers.
Customer Accountabilities
The associate will consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They will establish and nurture customer relationships, manage wait times, and engage in lobby leadership. The associate will also drive referrals to store colleagues and partners to support broader, more complex financial needs of customers.
Shareholder Accountabilities
The associate will ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations while completing operational activities. They will also accurately and efficiently process transactions and ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Employee/Team Accountabilities
The associate will contribute to a positive work environment by participating as a member of the team. They will actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery with high attention to quality standards and positively embrace change.
Experience and Skills Required
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. Teller experience is preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines are also required.
Physical Requirements
The job includes frequent sedentary work and performing multiple tasks. It also requires occasional domestic travel. The associate will often be required to sit, stand, and walk, and occasionally lift/carry items under 25 lbs. and over 25 lbs. Squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and twisting will also be occasionally required.
