Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is a professional role in TD’s Personal & Commercial Banking line of business. The role involves delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The associate is responsible for completing everyday banking transactions accurately and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
The scope of the role includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about banking products and services. The associate will build trust with customers through educational content and tools, providing consultative support and proactive insights, and recommending suitable products and services based on customer’s financial needs.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or a GED, and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a Notary License is preferred.
The candidate must be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. Teller experience is a plus, and the new hire will be required to complete Teller training and part of platform training.
